Customer, Logistic, and Service Support

1. Customer Service Executive

Responsibility:

- Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquires about products and services

- Handle and resolve customer's complaints

- Co-ordinate order processing and shipment of goods

- Help customer to decide what types of products or services would best suit their needs

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Engineering / Science preferred

- Good attitude, competent, committed, communicative, and responsible

- Good command of written and spoken English

- Must be customer oriented


2. Technical Service Manager

Responsibilities:

- Manage the productivity of independent field service technicians by ensuring proper training in the skills and knowledge to perform field diagnostics

- Interact with field personnel in the repair of Esco Products

- Investigate and report field product performance issues

- Increase product reliability through the creation of corrective action plans involving cross-functional teams from Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Product Management, and the field organization

- Develop and distribute product information and service bulletins to the field

- Ensure that the organization follows all the guidelines and policies regarding service and installation guidelines

- Assign internal service personnel to perform field response on critical installations and modify department priorities when changes are necessary

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Engineering

- Previous experience managing field service personnel in a manufacturing environment of installed products

- Demonstrated organization and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with all levels of management and service providers

- Demonstrated customer-oriented attitude and successful customer service track record

- Cross functional knowledge of engineering, service, and support functions

- Ability to process information and analyze to make appropriate recommendations

- Excellent spoken and written English


3. Technical Support and Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

-Daily email, phone, and occasional field service support for Esco products

-Prepare troubleshooting charts and service training slides

-Publish and maintain all service documentation in a Service Binder for distribution to field service organizations. Maintain online service documentation on the Esco distributor intranet

-Carry out hands-on training for field service organizations internationally. 20% travel required. Build relationships with these international field service organizations.

-Set up, organize and maintain a central spare parts inventory in Singapore including obsolete parts. Prepare spare parts inventory guidelines for field service organizations

-Input into New Product Development and Technical Writing functions from field service angle

-Initial quality monitoring including identifying, investigating, and tracking performance of newly introduced products. Retrieval of failed parts for engineering analysis as required

-Preparation of Product Performance Analysis reports (narrative style) for off-shore factories for continual product improvement

Requirements:

-Bachelors degree in Engineering

-Hands on field experience with electro-mechanical equipment repair and troubleshooting

-Experience with laboratory equipment will be an advantage

-Good command in speaking and written English

-Good analytical and problem solving skills

->30 % travel required


4. Service Technicians

Responsibilities:

-Inspect, maintain and service equipment

-Support sales department in user training program and demonstration

Requirements:

-Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

-At least 1 year experience in service equipment

-Good command of written and spoken English

-Good command in Microsoft Office applications



Electrical and Electronics

1. Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Electronics design and product development, from conceptualization, initial design, prototyping, to implementation

- Embedded system hardware and firmware design

- Digital and analog electronic circuit design

- Power electronics

- PCB design and layout

- PC software for monitoring and control applications

- Carry out performance optimization, cost analysis, prototyping, until production

- Component selection, testing, and evaluation

- Work closely with customers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure products meet all specifications

- Hardware, firmware, and software documentation (design documents, flowcharts, operation manuals, test procedures, etc.)

- Troubleshooting, analysis, and debugging of firmware and hardware for existing products

- Writing of technical specifications for submission to subcontractors for circuit design, firmware coding, contract manufacturing for certain products

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering / Electronics, with strong background in embedded system design

- Relevant work experience of 2-3 years in a product development / R&D environment

- Strong skills in C programming language

- Experienced in PCB design

- Experience with any of the following will be a plus: DAQ systems (LabView), product safety standards (UL, TUV), EMC testing and countermeasures, PC software development

- Excellent technical writing, documentation, and communication skills

MARKETING

1. Marketing Executive

Responsibilities:

- Provide total customer service with existing/new customers

- Maintain good relationship and building rapport with clients

- Do telemarketing and attend to all relevant enquiries

- Handle new customer enquiries

- Prepare Invoices

- Liaise with Service Engineers and clients

- Handle customer feedback and complaints

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Business/ Engineering

- At least 2-3 yrs of relevant experience

- Strong oral, written and inter-personal communication skills

Product Specialist

1. Product Manager

Responsibilities:

- Manage Product Pricing, key market Distribution Channels, Product Marketing Communications. Work closely with Esco’s Regional Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Production Teams

- Function as the single point resource for all strategic and technical product queries from Esco personnel and customers

- Travel to meet with distributors and end users in the top 10 markets (USA, China, Japan, Germany, France, UK, Italy, Brazil, India and Russia) as well as visit all key international trade shows in order to remain updated on latest market dynamics and customer requirements. 30% travel out of Singapore expected.

- Prepare Product-related content for all Product Literature, Competitor Comparisons, Customer Presentations, Educational Materials and Operating Instructions.

- At Esco, Product Managers are considered “high-value” positions in the organization structure. The Product Management Department is a small team of highly qualified individuals and each Product Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing (who in turn reports directly to the CEO).

Requirements:

- Business / Commercial background is a must, with at least 5 years experience in Sales & Marketing

- Candidates with prior Product Management experience preferred

- An engineering background would be a significant plus

- Candidate must be highly personable, possess excellent influential leadership and communication skills

- Able to travel >30% out of Singapore

- Singapore, Malaysia Citizens preferred (due to travel visa restrictions for other nationalities)

- Candidate must have a "detail-oriented" personality, excellent personal organization and time management skills

- Candidates must demonstrate an international outlook as this position requires frequent interaction with customers in North America, Western Europe, Japan, China and India (minimal interaction with regional customers in ASEAN although this position is based in Singapore)

2. Product Specialist

Responsibilities:

- The Product Specialist is assigned a single Product Category with international responsibilities. This position requires the Product Specialist to divide time between traveling to collect information on market requirements in the field and at Esco headquarters in Singapore to work closely with other departments in the company.

- The Product Specialist is the single person responsible for ensuring the above throughout the product life cycle. He/ She will work through Esco's Regional Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Production Teams. His / her performance, remuneration and advancement are determined ultimately by (A) sales volume (B) Margins Achieved.

- Functions as the single point resource for all strategic and technical product queries from Esco personnel and customers.

3. Product Specialist - Lab Ventilation

Responsibilities:

- Product marketing responsibility for laboratory fume hoods and associated ventilation systems, including distribution channel management, pricing, marketing communications, training and some project management

- Scope of the position is regional, 30% overseas travel will be required

Requirements:

- HVAC or related technical background

- Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

R&D

1.Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Participate in the design and development of our electro-mechanical and / or thermal transfer products

- Support the development from initial marketing specifications through design, qualification, production startup, and validation

- Responsible for the detailing of engineering drawings, solid modeling of parts and assemblies, and preparation of BOM

- Interact with vendors and factory personnel to improve and control product quality and cost

- Provide the highest quality and most innovative products to our customers

Requirements:

- Bachelor / Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably specialized in Design

- 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, SolidEdge, etc)

- 5-10 years experience in mechanical design preferred

- Understanding of metal parts and product design

- Design experience incorporating any of the following will be an advantage: motors, blowers, plastic parts, thermal transfer, hardware (hinges, latches, locks)

Refrigeration

1. Senior Refrigeration Engineer

Responsibilities:

-Design and develop one of our newest product line, freezers for biomedical applications

-Support the development from initial marketing specification through design and qualification to production start up and validation

-Refrigeration design in compliance with appropriate regulatory and industrial standards

-Interact with vendors to improve and control product quality and cost

Requirements:

-Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering specialized in Refrigeration/Air-conditioning System

-At least 5-10 years experience in designing refrigeration systems

-Understanding metal parts and product design

-Knowledge of refrigeration system manufacturing process/equipment

Sales, Business Development Executive

1. Business Development Executive

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for international sales in a given region

- Manage distribution channels by country and assist sales and technical inquiries from distributors

- Develop, plan and implement policies and activities for the organization's diversification and expansion

- Play a key role in executing sales & marketing strategies to achieve business objectives & sales targets

- Maintain close relationship with existing client, identify new customers & source for new business

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for handling sales enquiries, servicing existing customers, developing key account sales strategies to increase sales volume in the region as well as develop new business opportunities

- Manage the organization's relationships with independent representatives or resellers

- Provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations

- Responsible for new account development and/ or growth of existing accounts within an established geographical territory, product line, or channel

Requirements:

3. Mechanical Engineer – Sales

Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing quotations & proposals

- Provide technical support to all engineering departments and customers

- Technology transfer to ensure the team has the most updated knowledge

- Budget control for all projects

- Assist in cost reduction

- Assist and Control of Projects Inventories

- Coordinate and liaise with Vendors and Suppliers on Projects requirements

Responsibilities:

- Focus on life science, marketing Esco scientific equipment in the Asia Pacific Region

- Prospect, recruit, motivate, train, and support regional distributors to achieve sales targets

- Provide field support to distributors including joint sales callas and product demonstrations
